New release XR6 factory replacement intercooler kit - stage 1 . Easy bolt on horsepower . Factory battery and air box remain . ( custom air filter kit option available ) . Minimal fuss installation and no hidden extras required . Utilises a Plazmaman developed premium tube and fin intercooler core ( total 5.5 kgs ) with louvered ambient air fins and offset internal turbulators - perfect balance between cooling and pressure drop .Larger 2.5 inch cooler pipe ( if you plan to make horsepower , this is a must ) and large 3 inch turbo inlet pipe ( 60mm compressor - 75mm inlet charge hole = power ) for top end power - awesome induction roar can be heard as the turbo comes on song . Light weight aluminium mandrel bent piping in polished , raw or colour anodise of your choice. This is the first level introductory kit for the street orientated - occasional drag XR6 owner . This kit combines bling , go and legality all in one.

Plazmaman developed ' fision style ' tube and fin intercooler which bolts straight in - no drilling or cutting required .Comes complete with all bracketry . Easy bolt on horsepower ( 2 - 2.5 hours if using OEM hoses ) . 12 + genuine kws gain @ wheels (17 hp ) in standard trim and configuration ( piping kit also available . Not only will you gain extra horsepower , but you will feel more torque through the whole rev range and achieve better fuel economy ( approx 45 klms xtra a tank @ std boost ) , both around town and on the open road . Plazmaman developed Ford BA XR6 turbo engine bay piping kit . Replace that flat and restrictive intake / turbo pipe . Suitable for all high horsepower and racing applications .Give your Falcon that tough under bonnet race appeal and add that bling factor . A must for any intercooler upgrade . All pipes are CNC aluminium mandrel bent in-house and are finished in the trademark Plazmaman mirror polished finish . No extras required . Complete kit and easy to bolt on . Colour anodising available upon request .

XR6 Turbo High Performance 800hp Intercooler and Piping Kit

Set out to be the most compact , lightweight , efficient and powerful value for money XR6 charge air cooler on the market -------- and this kit exceeded our expectations . The 800hp intercooler will out perform any bar and plate on the market , especially in the recovery phase . Because of its compact fin and tube construction it also has the advantage of being approx half the weight of a bar and plate .This is the ultimate design for spirited street performance intercooling and fuel economy , and is the little brother to the massive 1000+ hp pro-series kit. It was designed to be an easy to fit option kit , still with the capability of flowing 800+ hp. Totally redesigned charge air core characteristics and end tank design . Notice the one piece front face end tanks formed from flat alloy sheet . Piping was designed using a combination of tubing sizes to promote air speed for max throttle response and torque delivery . All aluminium tubing is bent in house on our precision computerized machines

When we first fitted this kit we were astounded with its performance . The car became an absolute animal , smoked the tyres with no effort , even with a standard exhaust . Throttle response , even with an auto was 100% better and also fuel economy was bettered by some 40 - 60 klms per tank. Once the car takes off and gets on a plane at approx 80 klms per hour , we noticed that hardly no throttle effort was required to keep it there . Even on the hottest days the temps coming out of the outlet side of the cooler were near ambient - something that really astounded us.  In stealth Black appearance , the kit really looks like an OEM option .

XR6 Turbo High Performance 1000hp Intercooler

NEW RELEASE - 1000 hp Intercooler for the XR6 , XR8 and other monster horsepower applications . These intercoolers are developed in house at Plazmaman utilizing over 10 years experience at the forefront of horsepower development  in all forms of motor sports . These intercoolers utilize a 505 x 395 x 76 mm tube and fin core unique to Plazmaman (  feather weight 7.5 kgs total weight - every kg counts .)

( THESE ARE A GENUINE 76mm CORE WITH A 75mm INTERNAL DIMENSION - BAR AND PLATE COOLERS OF THE SAME EXTERNAL DIMENSION LOSE APPROX 10-14 mm INTERNAL DIMENSION ,  ARE HEAVIER , HAVE A MORE TURBULENT AMBIENT AIR FLOW ( LESS AIR TO RADIATOR ) AND TAKE MUCH LONGER TO DISSIPATE CHARGE AIR HEAT  ) . AN IDEAL INTERCOOLER CORE HAS MINIMUM MASS AND MAXIMUM SURFACE AREA .

End tanks have been designed using computer modeling to maximize thermal distribution and minimize turbulence . XR6 plenum class and power . Sheet alloy perfection, 1200hp capability, 1500 + hp coming soon. SPECIAL Plazmaman developed spherical tappered dome design . Creates positive turbulance and equal cylinder air distribution - a must for torque deveolpment and big top end horsepower.

THIS PLENUM WILL SUIT BOTH TURBO AND N/A APPLICATIONS. PLAZMAMAN DEVELOPED THE INLET PLENUM TO HAVE AN ADJUSTABLE TOP DOME HEIGHT AND REAR TAPER - THIS ALLOWS US TO CHANGE PLENUM VOLUME AS WELL - THIS IS A REQUIREMENT FOR BIG HORSEPOWER VEHICLES ...
